Throughout February, Black History Month recognizes the history, experiences, achievements, and contributions of Black Americans. It is an opportunity to learn about people whose leadership, creativity, work, and service have contributed to our communities and our nation.

At West Valley EEC, we believe children benefit from seeing people from different backgrounds represented positively in books, art, music, learning experiences, and the world around them. The Center remains open throughout the month on regularly scheduled school days.
