Principal's Message

Welcome to West Valley Early Education Center.

As an educator who began my career as a teacher, I value the importance of the early years in a child’s development. Our center focuses on creating a learning environment where young children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore the world around them.

West Valley Early Education Center recently reopened to serve families in our community, and we are excited to continue growing as enrollment expands. Our team is committed to building a strong school community where children, families, and educators work together to support each child’s development.

Our classrooms focus on play-based learning and developmentally appropriate activities that help children build language, confidence, curiosity, and social skills. Through exploration, conversation, and meaningful interactions, children develop the foundation they need for future success in school.

Families are an essential part of our program. We encourage open communication and collaboration so that together we can support each child’s learning and growth.

We look forward to partnering with you and welcoming your family to West Valley Early Education Center.

About Us

West Valley Early Education Center is part of the Los Angeles Unified School District Early Childhood Education Division (ECED), serving young children and their families through high-quality early learning experiences.

Our center focuses on developmentally appropriate practices that support the whole child. Students learn through play, exploration, conversation, and collaboration with peers and adults. Classrooms provide opportunities for children to develop language, early math, self-regulation, creativity, and social skills.

We value strong partnerships with families and the community. Families play an important role in their child’s early learning journey, and we encourage ongoing communication and participation in school activities.

Our goal is to create an environment where children feel safe, respected, and ready to learn.

Our vision is for every child to enter kindergarten confident, curious, and prepared to learn. We strive to provide equitable early learning opportunities that support language development, social-emotional growth, and school readiness for all children.
