Nowruz/ Persian New Year

What

Nowruz/ Persian New Year

When

3/20/2027

Nowruz, meaning “new day,” marks the Persian New Year and the beginning of spring. Celebrated for thousands of years, Nowruz is recognized by Persian and other communities across several countries and cultures through traditions centered on family, renewal, nature, and new beginnings.

Recognizing Nowruz is another way to honor the traditions represented within our West Valley EEC community while helping children learn that families around the world welcome a new year in different ways.

The Center remains open and follows its regular schedule.
